One week left till the show! aka crunchtime. aka madness. I haven’t been posting a lot on here, mostly because I’ve been working and studying and things like that. I can’t guarantee that I will post a lot more between now and the show, but I will make sure to tie up loose ends and post pictures of the final products/the show.
as of now I have finished silkscreening all of the shirts and posters & I am in the process of laser cutting more jewelry. The lookbook is all ready for printing and clothing tags are designed. I am planning on spending the weekend silkscreening white paper bags and tissue paper. The thing that’s been taking up most of my time has been packaging. I have finally gotten it right. check it…

now off to make three more boxes and hopefully get some sleep.

I have spent the last week and half sorting through and editing photos from the two shoots & then designing the photos/text into a lookbook of sorts. It basically showcases the products (apparel/accessories) that I have made. Tonight I have finished the booklet! which is pretty exciting. The following post will include some screenshots of my favorite spreads. enjoy!

“Ask the Siri, the new iPhone 4 assistant, where to get an abortion, and, if you happen to be in Washington, D.C., she won’t direct you to the Planned Parenthood on 16th St, NW. Instead, she’ll suggest you pay a visit to the 1st Choice Women’s Health Center, an anti-abortion Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC) in Landsdowne, Virginia, or Human Life Services, a CPC in York, Pennsylvania. Ask Google the same question, and you’ll get ads for no less than 7 metro-area abortion clinics, 2 CPCs and a nationwide abortion referral service.
”
Ask in New York City, and Siri will tell you: ‘I didn’t find any abortion clinics.’
yesterday we (jo, luci, 2 models, and me) did two photoshoots. the photos came out just as I imagined/hoped they would. I don’t want to spoil anything but I did want to give a huge huge thank you to everyone who helped out. and maybe perhaps a tiny sneak preview (unedited and compressed- just a heads up).

just some quick shots of the determined photoshoot location (thanks jo!) getting an idea of the colors in nature & getting inspired by the setting. shooting tomorrow. ahhh weee. beautiful models will replace me in these pics, cant wait to see what happens!
prints i worked on this weekend. envision these framed in a forest. with people holding the frames. and some people will have empty frames. and 3d solid color shapes as props everywhere. alright.
